Educator looking to change direction
I'm currently a reading intervention specialist at an elementary school, yet I'm looking into possibly changing direction towards more of a consultant or literacy coaching role. I would need to revise my resume and cover letter to include a focus on these skills. Looking for recommendations for resources to look into that won't cost money.
Thank you all so much! Great advice!
When I went through a job transition, re-writing my cover letter was crucial. Don't just re-state your resume, but use really strong language and specific examples of your success that wouldn't normally go on a resume. Creativity can work in your favor. I was unemployed at the time, so collected a ton of free information from Forbes and The Muse. And importantly, use your network!

Why not start your own role on your own remotely?

Andrew LaCivita's Milewalk academy has some good stuff, a lot for free. Website and YouTube channel.
Thank you, I appreciate it!
