I'm a problem solver who's great at planning and organizing, strong at executing ideas, distilling complex concepts into less complex and actionable info., building and developing teams, and project management.
This bodes well for my current career in compliance, however, I'm looking for a change. I'm toying with HR, Supply Chain and Project Management, and I was recently certified in diversity, equity and inclusion. 2 questions:
(1) If I were going to move into any of the 3 aforementioned careers, what are good "entry points?"
(2) What other careers are suggested to leverage my strengths?
Thank you!
Hi Kelly, if you would like to discuss working on HR projects, please ping me here and let's set up a conversation. You would be involved with HR and project management at the same time.:)
It's hard to answer your first question without having a sense of the level that you are at; however, in terms of #2, project management and HR certainly sound like good choices given the skills mentioned. (I don't know much about supply chain, so can't answer that one.) Operations management would also be a good possibility given your skills and compliance background.
Thank you, Kim! If it helps answer #1, I'm a Director with 15+ years of experience.
