Hi All, I am hoping for some career advice from seasoned bookkeepers out there.
This isn’t necessarily a huge career jump for me since I’m an accountant. But I have officially had enough of the rigid 8-5 schedule. I have been thinking about attempting to train to become a QB ProAdvisor so I can freelance bookkeep. My only issue in jumping into bookkeeping is that I didn’t take the usual route in accounting with a lot of GL. I went into external auditing of taxpayers, sales tax accounting, and then to AP. Do you have any suggestions about getting my foot in the door? Or even just getting more ledger experience especially as it pertains to QB? I appreciate any insight or suggested training.
