PowerPoint interview

I have done many PowerPoints to deliver information but never for an interview. Has anyone had to do the same and if so how did it turn out and how did you include your Projects without breaking any confidentiality rules.

I just did this last week. I was asked to do a presentation on a topic of my choice, 15-20 minutes long. I chose to use a short video, an experiential exercise, and a Powerpoint to guide the dialogue. It was only 6 or 7 slides, including a couple of title slides and the slide for the video. I'll have to locate the article I found that gave some good tips!

I have had to do this for every position I have taken (even details) for the past 5 years. Usually I take a project that has been completed, then I end with how the new group would benefit by doing x, y, z that they saw in the presentation. However, I work in government, so all my data and products are public domain after they have been completed.

I will keep this as reference in case I am asked to do it again. Thanks for the tips.

Yes, I've been required to do this. The thing I recommend is to create a realistic scenario based on real-life work and explain this upfront, then show what you have done. The company doesn't care about any confidential details, just enough to prove you know what you're doing. Good luck!
