Learning & Development, Leadership & Mentoring!
Hi! I'm a former high school teacher who transitioned into the creative/tech space last year, but looking for bigger/better opportunities to apply my teaching expertise in an authentic, relationship-centered way! I currently work remotely as a Digital Content Coordinator for a creative design firm that designs and builds websites, where I support clients through full-scale website redesign projects and content development processes with our UX & Development teams. It's a great company. but honestly, the role itself doesn't actually allow for much face time to directly support or educate clients about our processes.
Empathy, motivational coaching, & creativity drive my professional practices and I'm looking for the right space to make a true difference in people's lives by closing skill gaps & helping them to feel more effective in their work. I'm looking to move into Learning & Development, as I know training/learning is my lifelong passion- but am also curious about Career Coaching and other "less traditional" paths to take. I'm wondering if anyone here loves/doesn't love working in L&D - or has found another path into supporting people to achieve their personal/professional goals for increased work satisfaction? Thanks for any insights you have to share!
I'd love to chat with you and provide insight as someone who had made the switch in 2014. Looking forward to chatting soon!
