Becoming a health and wellness coach for individuals and corporations
I've recently come across the role of health coach. There are so many different things you can do with it if you have the certification and knowledge. I would like to focus more on wellness and health, possibly taking on individual clients, classes, and going to organizations to present wellness classes to improve their culture, and cut down their healthcare costs. I come from a background of training and education so the facilitation and creation of learning materials would be easy. I just have to get the knowledge. But is this a viable career? Does anyone have any thoughts?
I don't even know what to say about that. How am I supposed to pay my bills and keep my house under those circumstances. I'm at a loss
Yes, it is.
As you decide on how you want to focus your business, consider having at least one component that can be done online.
Why?
Because many are predicting that COVID-19 is going to be with us for quite some time. Some are thinking for another six months, others are saying that it won't peak until the summer of 2021.
Therefore, It will be especially helpful for you to have a way to connect with your clients, network, and prospects virtually--both for you and for them.
Do you know of other people who have succeeded in this area?
Do you mean health coaches and trainers who have at least one component of their business online?
A lot of health coaches and trainers have clients all over the world. The only way they can do that is if they do it online or by phone.
Coaching and training in general has moved all online these days.

As far as knowing anyone, I participated in a conference a couple of weeks ago along with a man called Dr. Fitness (https://drfitnessint.com). He does video calls and has a technology that monitors the program (I don't know if that is online or not. Quite possibly an app.)
Dr. Fitness' website includes resources found on Amazon and a supplement--a internet component for his business. (He probably is an Amazon affiliate, which enables him to market whatever products he wants to/believes in. If someone clicks through on his link, he'll receive an override. That includes all products and not just the ones he markets.)
