Pivoting from Technical Sales to Enablement
I have for many years been in data storage solution sales and led technical teams. Enablement (both sales and technical) has always been one of the key tenets of delivering successful teams to the business. I would now like to focus on this exclusively and have begun to apply for these types of roles.
My resume has been updated to highlight this and share the different methodologies I have worked with, key planning and communication strategies, etc. Applications always include a cover letter sharing my unique set of skills for these types of roles (I represent real selling experience and I can offer this in support of training and tool recommendations to ensure these teams get what they really need) but I am still getting overlooked with a desire for someone who has more "operations" experience. Wondering if anyone here has experience in the "enablement" space and can provide some recommendations?
