I am new to this group, and I am currently in between jobs. My contract just expired around the New Year. While I am applying for jobs within my Event Planning industry, I am very interested in pivoting to more Project Management roles full-time rather than as part of my job. I have experience in Project Management, but I feel I need more experience and ideally obtain a PMP certification. I am open to any suggestions of applying my current knowledge and skill level with Project Management and pivoting to a full-time career. Does anyone have their PMP or are currently working don't this certification? Thank you for your input and suggestions!
