does anyone have any thoughts on billing and coding certifications?

I'm a lvn but contemplating getting certified just to expand my employment opportunities. Has anyone completed this type of cert as a second path and if so, was it worth the price?

Curious if you ended up pursing? I took some classes on Coursera and am debating if I pay a few thousand to get certified as a medical coder. I want to do something stable, from home that pays well.

I would recommend you go onto all the major job boards and run searches for the positions you think you may be interested in. They will tell you right there what qualifications they're looking for, including any certifications.
