80 woah! Welcome new members!!
Hey ladies! SO excited to see you here! FGB is working through product dev so I can't actually *see* who joined. Can you say hello and share a little about yourself here?
Hi everyone! I founded Work Muse (workmuse.com) the first U.S. job sharing company. We train companies how to design sustainable job share programs and people how to create their own rewarding job shares. I worked in marketing & sales in the radio industry for 15 years previously, job sharing nearly a decade of that time with several partners (starting when my daughter was 6 months old). It was a game-changer! Work Muse was born out of my frustration pivoting careers and the difficulty in finding a job share coupled with my passion to spread the least known, most innovative flex practice so everyone else could experience the win-win-win for career-self-family I had! So happy to get to know you all!
Hi everyone! I'm a Program Manager at Fairygodboss and I live in Nashville, TN. I'm passionate about improving the workplace and love learning about ways to better integrate work and life. Excited to be a part of this group!
Hi Casey! Love and share your passion for improving the workplace. Thanks so much for sharing! Excited to get to know you!!
Happy to see everyone in this group -I am getting ready to leave ,y job in the pharmaceutical industry after 20+ years. Time for my next pivot! I learned about the benefits of having more in your life than just work the hard way, and I love helping and learning from other women who wrestle with the same questions
Hi Marne,
That is huge! A career pivot after 20 years is exciting. What field /role are you looking to pivot to for your second shift? A good resource could be goterawatt.com . Here's an interview I did with the founder that could be helpful: http://workmuse.com/the-woman-who-helps-power-your-career-change/
Thanks Melissa, I will check out terawatt. Thinking of various options for myself - writing, chocolate making, baking...the world is my oyster at this point! This will be my 3rd shift - and one goal is get back to some of what I really loved in my first career as a practitioner: seeing a tangible outcome from my work. Too many years of chasing paper and ppt!
