Cybersecurity Management and Policy Jobs

Hello everyone. I have a Bsc. in Cybersecurity Management and Policy, and it has been challenging to find a job in the Cybersecurity world without any cybersecurity work experience. I am beginning to feel like it was all a waste of time and money. I am currently working as a QA analyst, which I am grateful for given our current times. I need assistance from anyone that is currently in cybersecurity to advise me on what I need to do to put myself out there.

Florence, I'm not sure where you live, but we will be hiring 50-60 people in Cybersecurity over the next two years. We are a major power utility in So California and have a robust Cyber department. I would recommend going to www.edison.com and select "Careers." Once there, you should have the option of signing up for alerts based on key words you provide. The other thing I recommend, if possible, is continuing your education through classes with SANS or another well-known cyber institution. Many times, they have contacts that can help network you.
