Creating the Freelance Career

This morning I awoke to a LinkedIn message from a male marketer.

He had contacted me before and I responded that I get dozens of similar messages per week and I had no need for his services but thank you for checking. The message he sent this morning said (in summary), I know you get lots of these messages but I will keep messaging you until you say yes. After an immediate ICK feeling, I wondered, is this what you do in your personal life, too? It's creepy AF. I ended up muting him. What's been your experience with too persistent people?

I ignore them, or I clap back. I hadn't thought about muting/blocking them, I must start to adding that to my tool-kit.

It's sad and unfortunate, but I've become numb to it! It's one of the many reasons I have a "barely tolerate/hate" relationship with LinkedIn. When I get these messages - on a daily basis, I delete and ignore. Like you, if it's someone who persistently messages, I mute them :/
