get a damned job. I've had interviews, an good offer that was then rescinded, ghosting, a 'no' (with feedback that I thought was fair), an interview for something that may pan out but it's not what I want to do or in my field, and a fill-in job I'm starting next week for very little money. I am luckier than some people, but being laid off and then having an unbelievably wonderful job offer rescinded has been so very hard. I am tired of the ghosting, the weird offers that I still answer respectfully, and hearing people talk about how amazing this job market is and how I can fall out of bed into a 200K career job.
