What's your biggest business challenge?
I am a part-time employee for one company, a contract worker for another company, and I freelance writing for an international website. From the financial aspect, having to figure tax obligation at the end of the year is a little intimidating, as my husband and I choose to do our taxes ourselves.
From a professional view, I have found that no matter how many proposals I submit on UPwork for freelance editing/proofreading (which I have 16 years experience in,) I do not receive interview invitations. While I am doing well financially with my other positions, it is disappointing that my experience is not helping me obtain other freelance work.
I would choose a different platform. Upwork is over-run with people and lots of people who low-ball proposal prices. I've had much better success on LinkedIn Profinder and as part of the Skyword Community.
Not sure what field you're in but creating both an active and passive income stream helps as does creating multiple sources from which to derive income. Are you a freelancer or a contractor or a business owner?
Maintaining a steady stream of income. Any tips?
