and you haven't applied yet for that SBA $1000 grant, do it. It took 10 minutes of my time on Friday morning and the money was deposited into my bank account this morning. And it is a grant, meaning yours to keep without having to pay back.
You may be offered a loan too through the SBA. You can turn that down and it won't affect you getting the grant. (They offered me up to $12K at 3.75% interest, payable over 30 years. But I only wanted the grant money and not the loan so I turned that down.)
