We have provided pregnancy and parenting information and support through the not for profit sector for the past 29 years. We help parents understand and meet the deep need of their child's heart.
We are trying to cross over from the not for profit to have a coaching service for families that would not typically access the not for profit sector. It has been a big challenge having the mindset that there are people who wouldn't hesitate to pay for a tailor made service. So at present I work during the day and try to get this business off the ground at night.

Mindsets can be our biggest stumbling blocks in providing services. If we won't believe people will pay for what we are offering or pay the asking price, people won't. That lack of confidence comes through in our interactions with potential clients. I have found that it is helpful to reprogram our minds with repetitive messages such as "I am in demand," "People pay me for x". Set up a PPT slideshow with graphics and music to these affirmations and watch it daily and that will help you overcome your mental obstacles. It sounds a bit hokey but I've found that, along with dissecting lifelong stories we've told ourselves, works.
