Self help books?
ok ladies. What are we reading/listening to these days?
I just finished reading "We Should All Be Millionaires" by Rachel Rodgers. I just started reading "Chillpreneurs" by Denise Duffield-Thomas.
"The 12 Week Year "by Brian P.
Moran and Michael Lennington
Happy Money by Ken Honda - Life changing book!
Reading The Awakened Woman: Remembering and Reigniting Our Sacred Dreams by Dr. Tererai Trent.
Listening: Lots of Clubhouse Rooms with Quinn Conyers on public speaking and turning your conversations into cash and profit.
LOVE. What’s your takeaway from the book so far?
I’m a bad millennial because I have not jumped on the Clubhouse train(nor the Tik Tok one but that’s another discussion). Do you like the platform?
I am halfway through the book and Dr. Tererai shares openly how women easily will bury dreams. That we must not bury them but unearth speak openly and often of them. Also very interesting to learn about the similarities and differences of western and African culture.
I did early adopt on Clubhouse so it will be interesting the next few months. I would describe it as live broadcasting combined with a radio show. Much more connected way to network. I connected with a mom that I knew years ago because we were in the same room learning pinterest marketing strategies. Overall I like the platform and wrote an article on LinkedIn that I think it has potential to solve the inauthentic communication of social media.
