What would you be doing?
Hi FGB'ers! During this time of reflection and doing things I would not normally do, I have been asking myself different questions to find out what my passion is and what I want to accomplish in this phase of my life. Maybe someone can relate to what I am going through. For me it all comes down to what makes me feel complete as a human being. So I pose this question to you, if you didn't have to have a job, how would you choose to fill those hours?
I too am the sole breadwinner of my family, and really cannot choose to leave, but if I lost my job, I would definitely work more on my tarot reading (which I do more as a side passion, not really a hustle). I am not sure if I would want to make it into a career. I'm also passionate about writing, but rarely find the time. I would also paint and craft more, and focus on my kids.
That sounds wonderful. Side hustle can become full time hustles. I am the main breadwinner, so that's why I'm looking for a job and also thinking about what I would rather be doing. Continued success Gail!
I sincerely love my job and my field, but as the main breadwinner of my household I sometimes feel that if I disengage in any way, even taking a personal day, I could jeopardize our way of life. If I could spend free time pursuing other passions, I would use it to complete yoga teacher training.
In a perfect world I think we would all be pursuing our passions, but the cares of this life take precedence. So we must balance work and life and find a way to enjoy both. I've found that during this time that we must not lose track of who we are as women and what we are passionate about.
Exercise, read, travel.
Wonderful! All things that are enjoyable and relaxing.
