Navigating The New Normal

I'm planning to focus more on my tutoring business or private practice in education online.

I'm credentialed in English language arts and French, have a substantial teaching and arts background, Masters's in Educational leadership and am a global award-winning educational visionary and have a BA from Harvard. However, I sometimes lack confidence about doing my business and do work full time as well. It's been challenging to squeeze in time on it but I want it to work. I need to articulate what I offer better. I offer so much more than a regular tutor. Am more out of the box yet also appreciate structure. I'm able to see things that most people miss and am highly intuitive. I get the core of things and help others move forward. What I'm best at though is tapping into each person's talents and coaching them forward. I wish I were a math tutor sometimes since it's so specific and concrete. I have a lot to offer but could use some guidance about it.

Wow, you went to Harvard, that's brilliant. Well you can use your soft skills. It's good way to gain teaching experience. I was interested to find out what educational leadership course was for? and whether it is specifically for high school, or university level (in which case this is a good networking opportunity).

Thank you Julie, so true about imposter syndrome. We have to get beyond that and embrace our strengths and credentials!

Like you, I suffer from impostor syndrome. You have solid credentials that will propel you to success, yet, for some reason, it doesn’t bring the confidence it should. I will be watching this post closely in the hopes that others give you suggestions that I can consider as well.
