Not finding clients
What I like about business is that being an extension of life, it follows the natural laws that we can observe everywhere.
I have been myself through the scare of the potential danger of not finding clients. If you re yourself well equipped with the right mindset and feel ready to do business, there is only one reason why you wouldn't find them: you're not looking for them in the right place.
If you are wondering how you could know where they are, don't worry! It means that you need to go back to building the ideal client profile properly. Once you know them very well, you will automatically know what they do, where they go and how to find them.
Those annoying steps at the beginning that seem to be time consuming and nothing more are actually the most important work you can do to prepare your business for success.
I am trying to prospect for clients, but am having a very hard time. I know who they are, I want to listen to what their needs are and I've reached out to so many prospects. It seems that at this time people don't have an extra budget for coaches and mentors. Any advice on how to convince them otherwise?
If they need to be convinced, they are not ready for your services and no amount of effort will ever bring good results in the partnership.
There are 4 levels of prospects:
1. they don't know they have a problem
2. They know they have a problem but are not looking for a solution
3. They know they have a problem and they are thinking that there is a solution out there
4. They know they have a problem and they are actively looking for a solution
The only category you can work with right away is #4.
For those people their problem is burning; if the service is what they need, they will buy even they have to borrow money (it happened for me). So the point is to find those who REALLY need you now and talk tot hem in their words, to make them understand how much you are in their heads and hearts and then you can successfully present your offer.
