Hi Sophie!
Completing my Masters program in Adult Education [scheduled to graduate 12/24!]. I can then actually pursue teaching as a profession! In 2020 - at the age of 52 - I finally was able to buy my own home (a condo). I absolutely LOVE it. But... my best friend in the world lives in Nebraska. And as we've talked over the years, we both express that we'd love to live closer (we're about 10 hours apart right now). I have no family, but have lived in this state for 24 years. I am really torn about leaving the place I call home - and moving to a new state (which I really like I've visited many times!).Though I'm a newbie to condo living, in October 2020 I accepted the position of board president for my building. Unfortunately, the role is much more property manager than board president and I absolutely hate it. Unfortunately, no one else wants to serve. Nonetheless, board elections come up again this October, and unless there is some serious changes to how things go right now - I pray I have the strength to finally step down.
Great question. Can be thought of both professionally and personally. Or combined.
