Extra Pay?
Hello ladies, it's been a while so I thought I would ask this question. Did you ever receive extra pay for being an essential worker? My company instituted a $2.00/hr boost but it ended at the end of June. [I work in a big box store] I think now more than ever with states requiring masks and people being more rude, they should have kept it going.
Have you experienced similar things? Or general thoughts?

In grocery retail we recieved a $500 hero bunus in June and a $250 profit sharing bonus around Christmas. The union helped negiotate. Yes there was a lot of crazyness we saw. One issue is management cut hours right after to "make it up". They do the same thing happens with any sort of cost of living increase we get. So yeah but basically.
