Highs and Lows

My bestie and I share weekly highs and lows as a way to stay up to date and connected. Let me ask you , what was this week's biggest low and high point for you?

Biggest High Point: A "as long as I want" uninterrupted hot shower. I do some of my clearest thinking in the shower so it was nice to gather my thoughts and make a plan for how to greet this next week. Biggest Low Point: Getting confirmation on a job rejection after having two rounds of what I felt were solid interviews. Having stepped away from work two years ago due to burn out, I've been struggling to find alignment between myself and hiring teams, and I worry that part of my challenge I have to overcome is my time away from work - but I don't have a time machine to go back and change what I needed to do for my and my household's mental health.

We can open in as a question here or talk offline too.

You can't talk with your boss or leadership board because you ...Read more
