Hi Tarah! Thanks for the warm greeting:) I guess I'm a "Burnt out" Nurse you could say, LOL. I heard of a saying when you are doing something, "It not because you are tired, it's because you are not inspired." So its either I'm not doing a good job doing self care and the weekly body massages isn't hitting the spot or I'm ready for something new. I've done nursing for a good 4.5 years and I've had the privilege of being able to care for people and be a part of their healing. This job is very humbling to say the least. Somedays its a thankless jobs, but for the most part, I've enjoyed making a difference it helping improve peoples lives. So many life lessons and opportunities to be grateful for your life when you are helping people just get through another day in hopes that they will make it out alive (Sad truth). Lately I've been re-evaluating my life every 3 months to keep myself in check and I realize, I'm ready for something different. Maybe to add on to what I'm doing currently to keep me going or just completely take a break from nursing all together. Not quite sure yet, but I feel pretty excited about my future. Looking at some things, its just making the decisions and taking the risk to try something new

It can feel lonely. If you are a director, manager, or team leader you can't talk to your peers at work for fear of being seen as weak. You can't talk with your boss or leadership board because you ...Read more
