Mistakes at work
I made a mistake the other day and while I was able to fix it without causing any major issues, ever since then I feel like my boss has started micromanaging me and it’s starting to get on my nerves. Any advice?
Your boss is probably just taken his/her precaution to ensure it doesn't happen again. I am sure it will decrease over time as you re-built the trust. Try not to focus on it too much (can be difficult I know) and see if the situation returns to normal. If not I would initiate a chat with him, where you acknowledge the change in his/her behavior is caused by your mistake, but you also really want to prove that you can be trusted again
If the mistake was serious, even if it was easily resolved it can leave your boss "scared" for a little while. As time progresses and you perform normally, the discomfort will go away. If the situation drags on, you could discuss it with your boss directly, asking for specific feedback of actions you can implement to make him/her feel more at ease.
