Hi! I'm a communications leader who specializes in IT. I translate technology concepts and projects into everyday messages so those "non-tech-gifted" can understand and get excited about changes in technology. I'm also a closet geek who has dabbled in Web design/coding and enjoys video gaming.
I'm recently ran tech college hire, D&I, and training programs at a Fortune 100 company. I'm passionate about STEM2D because I'm frustrated not to see more women as colleagues. We bring different perspectives that are so necessary to help STEM fields move forward, so I'd like to help more women develop that passion and confidently apply for those job posts they don't 100% match.
I'm an engineering manager, been in engineering 17 yrs now. Really, I'm passionate about problem solving and showing how women can succeed in engineering (and STEM more generally!) There's no such thing as a "typical" day in this world!! :)
