Bank Reconciliation Analyst (Japanese)

• Improve KPIs and continuously improve productivity and service quality

• Prepare and complete timely balance sheet reconciliation.

• Ensure to meet KPIs/SLAs and continuously improve productivity and service quality

• Maintain SOPs and other related documents (Creation of SOP-JP)

• Play a key role for transition projects from 3M subsidiaries and support SAP deployment.

• Ensure compliance to 3M Financial Standard, SOX and other regulations.

• Engage in ad-hoc activities such as internal/external audit, tax audit, etc

• Participation in project, e.g. Treasury centralization activities, LSS, Idea Hopper

Basic Qualifications:

• Accounting degree and working experience in Finance and Accounting area - minimum 5 years.

• People management and leadership experience

• Solid financial accounting and internal control knowledge. CPA is advantage.

• Working knowledge for CitiDirect (electronic banking system) is highly preferred

• Working knowledge of SAP in AR area - minimum 2 years

• Experience in Shared Service Center for multi-national corporation is preferred

• Experience with Citibank electric banking system is advantage

• Knowledge in English, and Japanese (Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking Skills are necessary/required for this role).

• JLPT N1/N2 Certification is preferred

• Ability to learn legacy system (AS/400, PeopleSoft, etc)

• Flexible for new assignment and willingness to learn.

• Cross functional and cultural communication skill

• Detailed oriented and enjoys working with operational processes

• Highly client service and quality oriented mindset;

• Structured approach to effectively and efficiently planning own workload

• Team oriented person

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
