DevOps Engineer - Cloud & Datacenter Operations (Bangalore)

Main Responsibilities:

• Deploy and Maintain GitHub Enterprise Server and GitHub Enterprise Cloud.

• Support various Git Clients and Git-LFS.

• Promote best branching and migration practices.

• Support integration with Webhooks, GitHub Apps, and OAuth Apps.

• Assist with Authentication that includes SSH, Personal Access Tokens, SSO (SAML/OIDC - IDP).

• Automate by using a scripting language when it is needed.

• Take on tasks and manage projects to completion.

• Run and Attend Project Meetings to Achieve goals in a cross functional team environment.

• Available for emergency after hour escalations. To set you up for success in this role from Day 1, 3M requires (at minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of four (4) years of experience in troubleshooting software in lieu of the bachelor's degree education requirement

• Three (3) years of experience managing GitHub Enterprise Server and/or GitHub Enterprise Cloud

• Three (3) years of experience supporting and troubleshooting Git clients, Git-LFS, migrations, & branching.

• Three (3) years of working experience with one or more secondary services like GitHub Actions, Packages, Issues, & Projects.

• Familiar with authentication methods and SSO.

• Knowledgeable about Webhooks, GitHub Apps, and OAuth Apps.

• Two (2) years of experience managing team projects or serving as a key stakeholder in multiple projects.

• Three (3) years of experience working with Amazon Web Services while utilizing various services like EC2, Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), S3 Buckets, Route53, CloudWatch, EBS, EFS, AMI, IAM, MFA, ELB, Lambda, Auto-scaling, & Security Groups.

• One (1) year experience in troubleshooting APIs errors and web connectivity.

• Two (2) years automation experience in one or more of the following technologies: Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ruby, Java, C#, Terraform, and Cloud Formation

• Three (3) years of experience with Linux Server Operating Systems Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• One or more active Associate or Professional level AWS Certifications

• Experience with AWS Organizations and Control Tower

• Experience with GitHub CodeSpaces and CoPilot

• Experience with other pipeline products. Example: Jenkins, Maven, Azure Pipelines, Drone

• Experience with Integration using REST and GraphQL APIs. Example: Jira, MS Teams, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Slack

• Experience with Security Related Tooling. Example: Okta, SailPoint, Azure AD, ZScaler, WAFs

• Experience with Monitoring Tools. Example: CloudWatch, Splunk, and Elastic Search (ELK)
