    We expect the creation of the two companies will be completed by the end of 2023. For now, we will continue to operate as one global company. This role is positioned to drive the success of the "New Health Care Company".

    This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career.

    The Impact You'll Make in this Role

    As a(n) SPSD EMEA Finance Manager(*), you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

    • Performing complex financial and risk analysis of business projects to determine their economic value and financial condition. Provides financial advice and guidance to business units and management on appropriate aspects of projects.

    • Preparing accurate financial packages for presentation to various executive management committees.

    • Developing insights and analytics into pricing performance and outlook.

    • Providing analysis of operating department budgets and counsel.

    • Developing, driving, and attaining the Division's targets in the Annual Operating Plan, Quarterly Operating Reviews (QOR's) and Monthly Rolling Estimates (MRE's).

    • Articulating results of financial analysis, influencing business thinking, and negotiating outcomes to ensure business results attainment.

    • Assuring full compliance with 3M Global Financial Standards.

    • Partnering with the Businesses and escalate issues as needed.

    • Performing price analysis

    • Support SPSD EMEA business team

    Your Skills and Expertise

    To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university, in accounting, finance, economics, or other business and/or finance discipline (completed and verified prior to start)

    • Finance and/or Accounting experience in a private, public, government or military environment.

    Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

    • MBA or Finance Graduate Program from an accredited institution

    • Solid analytical skills.

    • Business knowledge and acumen.

    • Strategic thinking mindset.

    • Self-starter with ability to drive change
