ubject matter expert for Workday Time; work schedule calendars, shift premiums, location rules, etc.
Workday Time training lead
Support payroll processing for USAC to ensure payrolls are delivered accurately and timely
Collaborate with IT/HTR and external partners to assist in integration design and execution
Identify opportunities, making process improvement recommendations, and implementing changes
Documents requirements for change requests and works closely with Technology and IT team to test, approve, and implement to production while following the established governance process
Strong payroll compliance knowledge while staying abreast of new laws and regulations and enforcing the alignment with these regulations related to payroll and ensuring alignment with Global payroll strategies
Supports employees and supervisors' questions surrounding payroll and time reporting processes
Ensure accurate employee deductions such as benefits, taxes etc.
Develop reports utilizing Workday functionality to provide critical data to our business partners
Manage key projects as backup duties as assigned
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
High School diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
Five (5) years of experience in Payroll, Human Resources, IT, and/or Project Management in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Workday knowledge with an emphasis on Workday Time
Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform and any RPA tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with cross functional teams and across multiple functions and disciplines
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Demonstrated project management experience
Work location:
Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid)
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international
