    Position summary

    set for own category (Cost reductions, Supplier OTD, Supplier Quality, lead time etc.) Develop suppliers in close collaborations with the global Category Manager, PGs, Project Management, mgmt. mentors and relevant parties and have selected suppliers SAM responsibility by him/herself. Manages planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, emerging country spending and savings forecasts. Minimizes risk regarding quality and financial exposure by buying in accordance with quality and commercial procedures and in accordance with Company guidelines. Negotiates agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists, terms and conditions. Adapts corporate contractual framework to the local business needs. Recommends frame agreements to management and executes upon approval. Provides ongoing oversight and contract management with suppliers. Designs and implements cost-out programs and/or processes to reach financial targets. Contributes to and participates in setting and implementing budget and targets within the framework. Accountable for local divisions performances for own category. Develop processes, tools, analytics, dashboards relevant to the assigned categories, promote internally and externally digitalization and process automation. Share best practices. Based on setup, takes full project ownership for sourcing coordination for dedicated packaging projects (Project sourcing).
    Qualifications for the role

    • University degree in Engineering or Economics
    • Demonstrated experience in project sourcing and category management and with profound knowledge of Transformers and System Integration (e.g. eHouses, Switchgears, FinFan & Chiller etc)
    • Strong commercial and contractual knowledge including experience with back-to-back conditions and set-up.
    • Proven track records in fast problem-solving skills and pro-active and independent decision making, carrying the responsibility.
    • Cultural awareness, excellent communication and negotiation skills, good argumentation and ability to influence internally and externally.
    • Fluent written and spoken English. German is a plus.
    • Willingness to travel, approximately 20%
