    Position summary

    ency and care in your own area of responsibility. This role is contributing to the Drives Service activities in Belgium and Luxembourg. You will be mainly accountable for: • Performing comprehensive field service tasks including installation, commissioning, and maintenance of frequency inverters and peripheral equipment through both remote and on-site activities. • Conducting thorough analysis and troubleshooting of technical issues across various service categories (including routine maintenance, system extensions, and equipment replacements), while implementing digital services such as remote connections and condition monitoring to improve system reliability and reduce downtime. • Executing planned preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance to resolve faults promptly, while providing technical advice and training to customers on proper equipment operation. • Providing technical advice and training to customers on proper maintenance and operation of frequency inverters, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of equipment. • Coordinating specialist projects by planning, meeting milestones, and conducting regular reviews to ensure customer satisfaction and project success. • Building strong customer relationships by understanding their needs, offering tailored solutions, and developing strategies to prevent recurring issues in the future.     Qualifications for the role

    • A technical education (bachelor or master) preferably in the field of electromechanical/energy engineering
    • Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing (professionally or in a private context)
    • A first experience is a nice asset but not a must
    • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
    • Good command of the Dutch or French languages in word and writing.
    • Given the nature of the job, flexibility with regard to working hours is a requirement. This means, among other things, running on a regular basis 24/7 standby services.
