    Position summary

    osition holder will be responsible for P&L and direct people leadership, managing the sales organization in Eastern Europe. This position reports directly to Head of Sales Central and Eastern Europe, Instrumentation and indirectly to European Sales Manager, Analytical. Key responsibilities: Develop and maintain effective sales strategy in Measurement and Analytics Business Eastern Europe in order to improve ABB market penetration and realize growth aspirations in the assigned scope. Set, plan and ensure execution of sales strategy within the assigned scope to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products and solutions in a profitable way: order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. Monitor proactively sales performance, ensuring development and implementation of correction ac-tions to secure business growth when and where needed. Proactively lead, develop and coach the sales organization to exceed the sales targets through high performance. Main Accountabilities: Sales strategy • Creates, plans and implements sales strategy and strategic business development initiatives. Sales targets • Defines key sales targets and establishes appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance. • Drives top-line growth Customer acquisition • Identifies and evaluates opportunities with existing and potential new customers, determines plans for implementation and allocates resources. Customer relations • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key decision makers in customer and potential customer organizations. Volume, profit and cost • Owns financial budgets with P&L responsibility • Manages and leads sales engineers • Supports local sales organizations to ensure achievement of sales volume and product mix targets. Risk • Identifies and manages potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels including integrity & compliance risks
    Qualifications for the role

    • To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of five years of experience running a front-end marketing and sales operation with P&L responsibility, demonstrating a track record of profitable growth. A Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar field is essential. You should bring a strong background in the automation business, along with in-depth knowledge of the local market.
    • In addition, possessing a strong leadership mindset is crucial, as well as skills and experience in performance management and business development. To effectively motivate virtual teams within widespread organizations, intercultural understanding is important. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, will be key to your success in this position.
