As a Market development Manager at ABB, you will have a broad mandate including development and implementation of educational initiatives to increase awareness and understanding among potential clients and aligning your work with the strategic vision set by the Local and Global Division. Some of the main responsibilities will be: • Hydrogen and CCS: Work with these topics in the UK and Norway. Understand local dynamics and drive ABB's impact where it matters most. Position ABB as a technology advocate in these industries. • Influence: Act as a key representative at industry events, conferences, and forums to advocate for favorable policies and initiatives that support the growth of hydrogen and CCS. • Intel and Tactics: Chart the course for ABB's long-term success. Position ABB in the Hydrogen and CCS segments. Create a project pipeline, forecasting 2 to 5, and 5 to 10 years ahead. You will orchestrate project captures during the crucial initial phases by applying early phase screening. • Navigating Customer Relationships: Master the intricacies of customer constellations within the Hydrogen and CCS industry. Skillfully manage relationships to ensure sustainable growth.
    Qualifications for the role

    • Relevant education and experience: bachelor's or master's degree in relevant field. Professional experience can compensate for formal education.
    • Strong technology understanding: Strong understanding of hydrogen and CCS technologies and their applications
    • Will to travel: Within the UK and Norway as required.
    • Desire for development: We are seeking someone who possesses or desires to develop a strong strategic skill set. Your ability to inspire others, and develop big ideas with a defined course, will be invaluable.
