The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to Our Electrification business in India. You will be mainly accountable for: • Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities and implements improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality, and cost requirements. • Approving the design for processes developed internally or externally and performing final tests with respect to the project. • Providing support to Production during the internal/external process/equipment start-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources. • Evaluating new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices. • Develop Press Tool with Current technology, Good knowledge on 3D modeling software. Expertise in modeling, drafting & assembly of tools and dies. • Knowledge of Sheet metal manufacturing process. Knowledge of various Engineering material, application, Processing of Test fixtures, Gauges, Jig & Fixture for assembly, components to deskilling & fool proofing of process. • Industrialization of sheet metal parts starting from part design optimization for manufacturing till handover to production. • Prepare specification & Procure automatic assembly setups, sub-assly SPM, Selection of material handling equipment. • Strongly influence engineering department by proposing solution improving the manufacturability of a parts. • Prepare capital expenditure budget considering capacity enhancement, renewals & productivity ands on Experience for use of PFMEA, Control plan, SOP's & process parameter sheet. • Achieve product target Cost & awareness of better material utilization.
Qualifications for the role

• BE/ Post - Diploma /Diploma / NTTF / GTTC.
• Team player, Strong willingness to share knowledge and/or experience.
• Ability so show a proactive attitude Offers advice and proposes solutions when risks/opportunities arise.
• Goal oriented, Excellent attention to detail and process.
• Experience in manufacturing of Low voltage switchgear.
• Hands-on experience of working with CAD 2D/3D packages ( Creo. Auto-cad), SAP, Windchill -Estimating cost for the parts ,tools & gauges, drives the realization of the tools.
• Ability to demonstrate success in driving projects to meet targets and deadlines.
• Processing knowledge with Exposure of Engineering, materials -Knowledge and experience of Lean manufacturing, Exposure of ISO-8015 & GD& T Knowledge on part Metrology.
