    Position summary

    nd enterprise productivity, reduce maintenance and energy costs. Our engineering, project management, services and solutions portfolio covers a wide range of industries - Mining, Pulp & Paper, Metals, Aluminum and Cement, Data centers and Food and Beverage.
    Your responsibilities

    • Plan and coordinate engineering activities of large industrial electrification projects involving High voltage substation, pre-fabricated E-houses, MV & LV switchgears, Variable frequency Drives, Control, Protection, Instrumentation, MCC transformers, motor generators, Auxiliary Systems and HVAC Systems.

    • Responsible for the technical coordination with the customer, the internal engineering team, suppliers of equipment & services, and other stakeholders involved in the project.

    • Prepare equipment layouts for electrical and control rooms; Evaluate heat losses and selection of HVAC units.

    • Prepare cable & interconnection lists, cable tray layouts & cable routing.

    • Produce technical specifications.

    • Participate in the preparation of RFQ's and bid evaluations & analysis.

    • Technical follow-up during engineering, procurement & construction.

    • Control and manage engineering changes during project execution.

    • Coordinate and validate technical studies (asset): Short-circuit, Load flow, Protection Coordination and Arc Flash.

    • Installation supervision and commissioning in industrial sites.

    • Produce cost estimation of turnkey projects, generate deliverable list and schedule for entire project.

    Your background

    • Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering.

    • 2 to 5 years of related experience in the field of industrial electrification projects.

    • Member of OIQ (or P.Eng. from other Canadian provinces).

    • Knowledge of the electrical standards (ANSI, CSA, IEEE, UL and others).

    • Availability to travel within Canada.

    • Knowledge of software such as ETAP, SKM, ACAD, SmartPlant or Microstation is an asset.
