    Position summary

    quired for LCA modelling. Collecting product related data by accessing technical documentation from PLM environments Windchill and Smarteam and design documentation from CAD tools. Supporting management in gathering lessons learned and best practices and incorporates them into New Product Developments Designing and re-designing our products for reliability, durability, maintainability, repairability, modularity, refurbishing, re-manufacturing, and recyclability. Staying abreast of external trends and perspectives related to sustainability and provides consultation to businesses) as required. Performing various tasks in the assigned area (e.g., mechanics, electronics, thermal, software), from building concepts, gathering requirements to design, implementation, integration, testing, technology transfer or maintenance, and operations.
    Qualifications for the role

    • Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or in Sustainability Engineering / Environmental Science.
    • Minimum 1 to 4 years of experience in R&D with exposure to product design & development, quality, value engineering, costing, preferably in the domain of electrical distribution like MV and LV breakers, Contactors, Switches and switchgears
    • Knowledge of eco-design, LCA, EPDs, energy efficiency and other Sustainability concepts.
    • Proficient in CAD Tools like SolidWorks, Creo etc.
    • Familiarity with PLM, preferably Windchill and Smarteam, ERP software and preferably SAP.
    • Highly motivated team player with a collaborative, learning and solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
