Participating in the development of new solutions and maintenance of current packaging portfolio and defining, designing and implementing product features based on market requirements
Project manager for development, maintenance or type testing projects
Sheet Metal Design, Part Modeling & Assembly Modeling using Solidworks
Selecting the different material, fastners and accessories (metallic or non-metallic)
Creating detailed mechanical BOM with precise components description, creating detailed execution drawings for the parts and the assemblies
Analyzing the different simulation reports (stress analysis, wind simulation, seismic, etc.)
Applying the global standards' requirements for the solution under development (IEC 62271-1, IEC 61439, IEC 62271-202, IEC 62271-212, etc.)
Cooperating with different functions (Product Management, Marketing and Local Units' Teams), aligning with assigned targets (time, cost, quality) and completing project deliverables, demonstrating sound understanding and usages of R&D processes and tools
Your background
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputed university (minimum very good)
Minimum 3 years' experience in manufacturing facility for Electrical Power Products
Experience in MV products, LV products or Transformers, selecting the different metallic and non-metallic materials
Experience in sheet metal design, part and assembly modelling using 3D modelling software (preferably SolidWorks)
Applying the DFA/DFM methodologies, creating BOM and specifying the detailed description for different components
Preferably to have knowledge in different mechanical simulations (stress analysis, seismic, wind, etc.)
Fluency in both English & Arabic language is mandatory
