That's our story. Make it your story. Your role and responsibilities: People development is a strategic mandate for Business Line (BL) Pulp & Paper. In this role, you will play a key role in executing this part of our strategy, by providing global alignment, design and delivery of our internal and customer trainings for the BL Pulp and Paper . You will work together with the regional and country teams to and align the trainings. Together with the Product Lines you will improve and create new training making use of modern training possibilities and creating a balance between on-line and face-2-face training. As Global Training Manager you will cerate and manage certification programs for the key functions across sales, service and engineering You will work in close cadence with the various Pulp & Paper units across the globe, building and managing an up to date modern training program for BL Pulp & Paper that supports the needs of the Local Business Lines (LBL) You will be mainly accountable for: • Providing a globally aligned and effective training program that represents ABB's Pulp & Paper Solutions and Services • Provide support and guidance to the BL Product Lines and functions to provide effective training that is aligned with LBL's. • Capturing, maintaining and distributing the vast knowledge we have in the ABB Pulp & Paper team. • Selecting, managing, and guaranteeing proper training of outsourced trainers. • Certifying excellent customer service and securing high level of customer satisfaction in your own area of responsibility. With this role you will be a key member of the ABB Pulp & Paper community, an enthusiastic team that has a long heritage and a strong future in the in the industry. You will be mainly accountable for: • Assisting a business/business manager in all business-relevant administration tasks, such as conducting research, compiling, verifying the information, and creating special reports, presentations, organization charts, correspondence, and other relevant documents. • Ensuring sharing of knowledge and information to keep others informed and up to date. • Acting as the point of contact for internal/external inquiries via phone and email, assessing the urgency of issues, and initiating appropriate action. • Arranging business-critical internal/external events, including arranging travel, developing itineraries, booking accommodation, registering for conferences, and coordinating with visiting speakers, among other tasks.
    Qualifications for the role

    • Qualifications for the role:
    • You have experience in management and alignment of remote teams.
    • You have 5 years of experience either directly or indirectly with the Pulp & Paper Industry
    • You are passionate passing on knowledge and have a general interest in people and how people learn and develop
    • A Bachelors Degree in engineering, training and/or Paper Industry.
    • You are at ease communicating in English
