Job Responsibilities
Assess individual and team performance, provide coaching, and connect specific assignments or experiences to build capabilities
Support the sections recruiting strategy, lead the onboarding process, and promote talent development through advocating and mentoring
Utilize sales tools to analyze the marketplace and capacity of the market team to prioritize work and deploy resources
Translate strategy into action by leading the team to develop and measure operational plans and processes
Collaborate internally with section leadership, account teams, and peers to remove obstacles and advance results
Foster external relationships with key customers to gain alignment and advocacy for brand programs, technology solutions and legislative efforts
Educate and engage with your team and key stakeholders to accelerate the consumer transition to smoke free products
Cultivate a culture of inclusion through authentic and accountable leadership that empowers people to work together to achieve common goals
Specific Skills
Bachelor's degree
Prior experience managing people is required
4+ years of experience in sales and/or marketing operations in consumer-packaged goods industry preferred
Key Account experience preferred
Know the Business: Deep understanding of our business including supply chain & strategies; develop strong knowledge of industry and consumers and ability to apply knowledge to strategies & initiatives

Strong Microsoft Office skills and proficient use of operating systems & tools
Monthly business travel will be required for meetings and working in the field - potential for overnights and travel up to 25-40%.

Any DUI/DWI conviction in the last 3 years will be an immediate disqualifier for the position. You must be able to work full time within the United States without sponsorship. Sales Managers must be able to lift, push, pull, reach, conduct overhead work and carry bags and boxes as part of the sales activities (up to 10 pounds on a frequent basis; up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis; possibly up to 50 pounds on a seldom basis).
