What you'll be doing:
Data Governance Framework Development:
Vision Setting: Define and execute the vision to operationalize Data & AI Governance across the enterprise.
Framework Design: Develop a comprehensive data governance framework that aligns with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Data Ownership: Define roles and responsibilities for data stewardship, ownership, and accountability across departments.
Data Quality Management:
Strategy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement strategies and policies for effective master data management.
Data Standards: Develop and enforce data quality standards to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of organizational data.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with data-related regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, or other industry-specific standards.
Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate risks related to data security, privacy, and governance.
Audit Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure alignment to governance policies.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with IT, legal, business units, and other partners to align data governance initiatives with organizational goals.
Training and Awareness: Develop training programs and materials to educate employees on data governance policies and best practices.
Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for data governance-related inquiries and initiatives.
Technology and Tools:
Tool Implementation: Evaluate and implement data governance tools and technologies to support governance processes.
Data Cataloging & Metadata Management: Oversee the management of a centralized data catalog and AI augmented metadata management of data assets.
Continuous Improvement:
Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data governance.
We want you to have:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles.
Experience with data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or Alation.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, or HIPAA.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Knowledge of advanced data management techniques such as metadata management and data cataloging.

The starting salary is based on but not limited to experience, knowledge, and qualifications in determining compensation decisions. The Salary Range for this position is: $128,700.00 - $196,200.00.
