    Position summary

    from architectural/design decisions.

    • Define quality attributes, constraints, and non-functional requirements.
    • Evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and distinguish user requests from true needs.
    • Analyze requirements to ensure they meet higher-level objectives.
    • Diagnoses and troubleshoots software and business process issues.
    • Resolve first-level support problems and escalate complex issues.
    • Engage with business users to understand their concerns and frustrations.
    • Enhance business users' system knowledge and productivity.

    Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

    • Experience providing customer-driven solutions and support.
    • Basic understanding of system architecture and engineering processes.
    • Basic knowledge of infrastructure technologies and interconnectivity.
    • Experience analyzing and defining technical SDLC requirements for IT projects.
    • Experience consulting on test strategies and plans for IT projects.
    • Experience eliciting and documenting requirements using facilitation and interview techniques.
    • Experience with modeling techniques/tools for requirement agreement.
    • Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Iterative, Agile).
    • Solid knowledge of general business operations, objectives, and strategies.

    • Knowledge of Life Insurance.

    In this hybrid role you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month out of our Madison, WI office.
