You will conduct surveys and interviews of business unit employees to determine if business practices, or absence of practices, present significant regulatory, ethical, or legal compliance risks.
You will distribute compliance risk questionnaires annually to business unit compliance liaisons to obtain information about business processes ensuring regulatory, ethical, and legal compliance.
You will assist in and/or lead the coordination of regulatory exams and inquiries, along with drafting written inquiries.
You will research applicable laws and regulations, analyze their effect on business practices, and apply a working knowledge of laws, regulations, and internal policies related to Compliance.
You will serve as an expert resource on assigned subjects for more complex issues.
You will complete detailed data analysis, such as conducting in-depth reviews of internal business practices, to identify potential problems and mitigate risk, and recommend solutions as appropriate.
You will escalate issues and maintain records as required or appropriate.
You will investigate the most complex and sensitive or high-profile allegations of agent and agent staff fraud, ethics violations, law violations, or other misconduct.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
Demonstrated experience coordinating and responding to market conduct examinations or other regulatory examinations.
Demonstrated experience interfacing with regulators; writing responses and developing action plans to address findings or risks.
Demonstrated experience investigating fraud or misconduct allegations.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of business risk assessment approaches and compliance-based structures and programs.
Travel Requirements
Up to 10%.

Work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with a Juris Doctor are preferred
You will bring a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a regulatory environment.
You will have worked within the P&C industry with product knowledge in both commercial and personal lines, as well as multiple distribution channels.
You will have experience leading examinations and interfacing directly with regulators.
You will demonstrate experience coordinating across multiple business areas to protect the company in market examinations.
In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 02110
