The senior leader will define, develop and execute innovative regional digital shopping experiences and merchandising strategies across eCommerce Marketplaces, the Apple Store Online and the Apple Store App, bridging local customer and business needs with global initiatives and brand standards. As a key member of the Global Digital Experience and Merchandising (DE&M) team, and an influential leader in the Greater China Online Store, this position requires close collaboration across multiple regional and global functions.

The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in delivering innovative shopping experiences, deep expertise in digital best knowledge, and a strong understanding of regional trends and eCommerce consumer behavior. You will drive a forward-thinking eCommerce marketplace strategy that distinguishes Apple official digital stores as the top destinations for shopping Apple products. Collaborating with Marcom, Product Management, and other partners, you will design exceptional digital shopping experiences, overseeing the entire customer journey, content strategy, commercial execution, and optimization. - Collaborates with key cross functional teams within the region including Product Management, Commercial teams, Marcom, Digital Content Management, Operations, Retail Engagement Marketing, Product Marketing, Retail Contact Center, and Stores teams, to integrate business priorities and strategies into the shopping experience across digital platforms, market places and touch points. - Defines how customers navigate, learn, shop, configure, and purchase products across our digital platforms. Creates regional digital commerce content strategies, delivers relevant merchandising and implements to an optimal digital customer experience. - Establishes a baseline performance standard for platforms, merchandising placements, and content. Clearly understands the business and shopper engagement from a customer journey and experience perspective, reports out regularly on performance and identifies actionable insights. - Makes use of an understanding of regional, segment, and seasonal nuances to optimize platforms and merchandising strategies. - Partners with Global DE&M team on new product launches, global seasonal shopping events, and global brand initiatives. - Provides a regional perspective and future requirements on global end-to-end customer journey, digital platform strategy, and future store initiatives to Global DE&M counterparts. - Inspires, develops and leads a high performing team of Digital Experience and Merchandising professionals.
Minimum Qualifications
10+years demonstrated experience defining and developing consumer facing digital shopping journeys, Digital Merchandising strategies or e-commerce experiences.
5+ years developing and managing a team of individual contributors including at senior level.
Deep knowledge of regional retail industry trends and marketplaces including Tmall, WeChat, Douyin, Little Red Book etc. Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin).
