    Position summary

    Description

    You will operate in the capacity of the Finance Controller responsible for key organizations within Apple's Hardware Technology team. You will have the ownership of the finance relationship with the key business leaders that cover main product feature development. You will lead the development of engineering budget plan with the program management team from product concept to engineering project execution, identify cost saving opportunities throughout the product development cycle, drive the post-mortem analysis of what worked and communicate the learning for future plans. You will manage and control finance processes with senior engineering leaders to make sure engineering team members comply with Apple Finance policy and Engineering management guidelines. You will operate independently, present your ideas, plans and results to senior Apple management and leaders, and be able to handle senior relationships not only with business partners but also with the finance leadership team.

    Preferred Qualifications

    10+ years of progressive experience in finance

    MBA Degree

    Work effectively under tight deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-paced team-oriented environment

    Assertive, pro-active and results driven finance professional

    Strong communication skills (written and verbal) - ability to work productively with groups and individuals at all levels

    Team player able to work collaboratively with business partners to achieve organizational goals

    Ability to thrive in a large and diverse environment - strong understanding of organizational relationships and responsibilities

    Strong ability to build trusted internal networks across many functions to accomplish goals

    Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with an investigative, methodical and tenacious mind set - ability to understand, articulate, and drive toward the end objective

    Has shown the proven ability to influence while building strong and collaborative relationships

    Minimum Qualifications

    7+ years of progressive experience in finance

    2+ years of leadership and people management experience

    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other quantitative field

    Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $182,500 and $274,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
