    Position summary

    e Beats accessories team is seeking a self-driven, passionate APAC Engineering Program Manager to lead projects during the NPI (New Product Introduction) stage. The ideal candidate will be : - An exceptional communicator in both Mandarin and English - Able to quickly identify challenges and drive resolutions - Skilled at collaborating across departments and all levels of management (both within Apple and with partners) - Adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment - A creative problem solver who thrives under pressure

    Description

    • Work with contract manufacturer (CM) to make build schedule according to NPI project overall schedule - Create & maintain the build matrix to reflect the latest request from x-functional teams & DOEs arrangement in nimbus - Material CTB review and take correction actions towards the risk items, make sure waiver list in place - Follow up with x-functional teams for the station equipment & fixture bring up / buy-off status - Manage build deviations both for test stations and assembly process - Host daily build opening / closing meeting for project readiness review to provide risk assessment & opportunity - Drive key issues for short-term & long-term actions - Quotation review, budget / PR request and approval - Extensive travel (~50%) within China or Vietnam

    Minimum Qualifications

    • BS / MS degree with relevant working experience in project management

    • Experience running technical programs with cross-functional teams

    • Proficiency in English oral presentation & writing

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience on consumer electronics

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a diverse audience

    • Ability to lead, take action and provide goal-oriented direction in the face of ambiguity

    • Comfortable expressing a point of view and influencing change across projects, programs and processes
