    Position summary

    Preferred Qualifications

    MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Research or a related field.

    Deep understanding of cloud and datacenter infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and hyperscale/cloud provider ecosystems.

    Familiarity with AI/ML-driven capacity planning and predictive analytics tools.

    Prior experience in a hyperscale cloud provider, data center operator, or large enterprise infrastructure planning team.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Minimum of 7 years of experience infrastructure planning, data center operations and builds, and cloud management.

    Strong verbal/written skills with an ability to distill complex ideas into concise, high impact communications

    Experience presenting to senior leadership, up to and including VP level

    Able to manage through ambiguity and respond quickly to new requirements and data in a highly dynamic environment

    Understanding of the operational complexity of power, hardware, fiber, thermal management and independent requirements for R&D in data center builds

    Deep understanding of various cloud architectures (e.g. micro-services vs monolithic) and associated operations models.

    Proven cross-functional program management skills with an ability to rapidly develop working knowledge in new areas quickly.

    Familiarity with hardware lifecycle management, including procurement, lead times, and supply chain constraints for servers, networking equipment, and storage.

    Experience leading cross-functional planning processes, aligning partners on supply inputs and infrastructure roadmaps.

    Experience in long-range planning for infrastructure growth, including multi-year capacity projections and investment strategy.

    Demonstrated ability to influence technical and non-technical customers, including engineering, finance, supply chain, and executive teams.

    Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $305,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
