Machine Learning Manager, Siri Modeling

seeking a passionate engineering manager to lead strategic projects that will impact the future of Apple and Siri. Our cross functional work involves modelling, research, design, measuring, deployment, and so on, spanning the entire product life cycle from project inception to shipping models on billions of devices. The ideal candidate would have some expertise in language technologies and in managing or leading an engineering team.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with leading projects and co-ordinating work across a team.
Excellent project management skills including project structuring and managing work streams interdependently.
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated skill of negotiating and distilling sophisticated technical requirements from multiple partners into a coherent long-term platform roadmap.
Industry experience in implementing and training large language models
PhD or MSc in Language Technologies, Machine Learning, or a closely related field.

Minimum Qualifications
Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and technologies. Detailed understanding of building, evaluating and release management processes for ML systems.
Strong leadership, management, planning and co-ordination skills with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across an organization.
Experience with modern machine learning algorithms including large language models.
