Manager, UI Frameworks, Swift Platform Experience

You will help create testing tools and procedures that contribute to this endeavor. You will also be a steward of the new APIs and SPIs that are developed. Finally, you will be expected to work closely with HI on new designs that are being developed from release to release.

UIKit and SwiftUI together power nearly every interface on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and beyond - spanning touch handling, animation, text, layout, and the high-level components that apps across the Apple ecosystem depend on every day. As part of the UI Frameworks team, you'll collaborate closely with Human Interface designers and partner frameworks, and help deliver the next generation of UI technologies. You'll work side by side with internal teams to create APIs that inspire developers and power incredible experiences. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Background in framework-level rather than application-level development

Familiarity with both UIKit and SwiftUI, including their interoperability story (UIHostingController, UIViewRepresentable, etc.)

Knowledge of UI Frameworks on other platforms (e.g. visionOS, Catalyst, CarPlay)

Management experience

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on UIKit and/or SwiftUI development experience on Apple platforms

Strong proficiency in Swift (Objective-C familiarity a plus)

Desire to leverage your skills and experience to manage and direct a team of strong engineers

Clear communication and collaborative problem-solving skills

Solid understanding of software development workflows and practices

Solid understanding of debugging, profiling, and performance optimization","internalDetails":null

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $198,300 and $342,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
