    Position summary

    uilding skills with the ability to effectively influence peers and management, as well as a solid understanding of consumer electronics architecture, supply chains, and manufacturing cost structures. Ideal candidates will have a natural curiosity about how things work and why.","responsibilities":"Understand key consumer electronic technologies to be able to identify cost trade-offs that challenge design, feature, and supply chain constraints

    Perform detailed cost modeling and identify/develop opportunities for both material and non-material line items

    Manage product cost to achieve pricing and margin targets; set individual cost targets for each component/module

    Assist GSMs in deriving accurate closest to the pin should costs

    Support product integration & feasibility scenarios, ROI analyses, supply chain optimization investigations, environmental implication assessments, etc.

    Develop the Supplier Plan of Record for each new product, focusing on strategic supply chain initiatives, and get buy-in from cross-functional stakeholders

    Hold regular executive forums to review/discuss trending cost vs targets and drive opportunities for cost & design optimization

    Preferred Qualifications

    Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills

    Self-starter with strong sense of ownership

    Ability to resolve ambiguity through a creative yet data-centric approach to program management/decision making

    Strong analytical skills and ability to maintain attention to detail within big picture thinking

    Experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities

    Minimum Qualifications

    3+ years of relevant experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Supply Chain or related area

    BS/BA in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or a related field

    Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $128,400 and $193,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
